In cooperation with the Power and Energy Society at the IEEE Section, FEEIT organizes the Sustainable Energy Day. The event is organized as a part of the Sustainable Energy Days initiative for global promotion of clean energy and energy efficiency. The energy transition pathways and the need to provide secure energy supply are the drivers for societal changes and innovation, aiming to meet the renewable energy and climate goals.
These topics are included in the teaching curriculum in various courses at FEEIT, but also, they are topics of interest for the wider community. By promoting these topics, FEEIT aims to contribute to raising public awareness. The FEEIT Sustainable Energy Day will present the research activities of FEEIT staff as well as student proposals for establishing sustainable practices at FEEIT.
