The newly appointed assistant professors, Dr. Bojana Velichkovska and Dr. Ana Cholakoska Cilakova, delivered their inaugural lectures to colleagues from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) and several other faculties at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM).
The lectures focused on the topics: “Identification of Racial Bias in Data Sets Using Machine Learning” (Assistant Prof. Dr. Bojana Velichkovska) and “Federated Machine Learning for Enhancing Security and Privacy in the Internet of Things” (Assistant Prof. Dr. Ana Cholakoska Tsilakova).
These presentations provided an excellent opportunity for colleagues to become acquainted with the work of the new assistant professors, their achievements, and the potential for future interdisciplinary collaborations.
