On 12.12.2024, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies signed a memorandum of cooperation with the company Solar Spektar AG DOOEL from Skopje, as well as an agreement for the donation of photovoltaic equipment. The signing ceremony, in addition to the Dean of FEIT, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Atanasovski and the Manager of Solar Spektar Goran Mojsoski, was also attended by the Head of the Institute for Electrical Machines, Transformers and Apparatus, Prof. Dr. Goga Cvetkovski, as well as the engineers from Solar Spektar, Ms. Angela Najdoska, MSc and Ms. Jana Panevska. By signing this agreement, the company Solar Spektar becomes one of the many partners of FEIT that finance the modernization of FEIT in the field of scientific and research equipment with equipment. Within the framework of this donation, photovoltaic equipment consisting of two bifacial panels, a microinverter, two reflectors, additional connection equipment and an appropriate mobile structure was donated. This donation, which is worth 2,400 euros, will contribute to increasing the technical capacities of the Laboratory for Electrical Machines, Transformers and Apparatuses at FEIT in Skopje. The donated laboratory equipment will be used for the implementation of laboratory exercises, the preparation of seminar and project assignments, diploma theses, master and doctoral theses, as well as for the implementation of scientific research and applied activities of students and teaching staff from the relevant fields. This donation confirms the permanent commitment of FEIT to increasing the cooperation of the faculty with industrial companies. It is especially pleasing that this donation comes from a company whose manager and employees are electrical and information technology engineers who are former students of FEIT.
FEIT hopes to further deepen its cooperation with Solar Spektar.
