On Friday, March 13, in the Deans Office we marked the acceptance of a Kontron donation consisting of:
– five sets of microcomputer Raspberry Pi 5,
– five sets of the microcomputer STMP157, (named “Olgica” at Kontron)
with total value of EUR 1500.
The Dean welcomed the Manager, Mr. Jovanovski, the Vice Manager Ms. Jovanovikj, and the Embedded Division Team Lead Mr. Beshkovski from Kontron, prof. Raleva and prof. Kjosev from the Institute of Electronics, as well as three student representatives from the study program KHIE enrolled in Embedded Systems.
The Institute of Electronics and Kontron have been cooperating in the field of Embedded Systems in the last two years, which resulted in three employments of engineers form the study program KHIE. Also, during the winter semester, Mr. Beshkovski presented some of the embedded systems technologies from Kontron at the Embedded Systems lectures at FEEIT.
This donation elevates our cooperation to a next level by enabling the students to work on their projects with contemporary devices and technologies to acquire skills directly applicable in the Embedded engineering practice.
