Python 101: Basics of working with sound in Python

The workshop “Python 101: Basics of working with sound in Python” was organized on Friday, 8. 11. 2024 in FEIT FabLab within the activities of the course Electroacoustics. The students present at the workshop had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Python programming language and the basics of sound signal processing with it. Additionally, the application of free software and Python in science and engineering were presented, as well as the basics of working in a Linux terminal and setting up virtual Python environments.

The workshop is supported by FEIT FabLab and the Macedonian section of the IEEE: the joint chapter for Signal Processing and Engineering in Medicine and Biology (SP/EMB), the joint chapter for Electronic Components, Instrumentation and Measurements, Solid-State Circuits (ED/IM/ SSC), the student departments (SC37 and ED15), as well as the affinity group of IEEE Life Members, (LM80077).
