10. Course Goals (acquired competencies):

Understanding the concepts of energy and spectral efficiency of communications systems. Ability of system design and optimization of energy efficient wireless systems.

11. Course Syllabus:

Concept of energy efficiency of communications systems. Energy efficiency in wireless networks and cellular systems. Renewable energy sources. Energy harvesting communications. Wireless transmission of energy and information. Wireless powered communication networks. Methods for design and optimization of energy efficient communication systems.

Lectures, preparation of seminar papers, solving project tasks, independent work
