Description
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) is part of EvolvEV project. The project is set to start on 1st December 2023 and during the following two years will facilitate the development of technical and entrepreneurial skills required for the evolution of the electric vehicle sector, by providing free, flexible, and outcome-oriented learning experiences, supported with microcredentials, developed in coordination with the industry. The project, financed by the Erasmus+ programme, will enable students from FEEIT, as well as industry experts, to obtain new knowledge and advance their skills in line with the needs of the challenges posed by the ongoing electrification of the transport sector.
Project goals:
- Develop of a common training programme covering various topics relevant for electric vehicles and entrepreneurship, with microcredentials developed, in coordination with the industry stakeholders
- Enable remote, digital access to two virtual laboratories (one for advancing technical skills and another for development of entrepreneurial ideas)
- Support entrepreneurship and innovation through free mentorship sessions, workshops and competitions
- Ensure sustainability by institutionalizing the educational program and creating a network of collaborators
