As part of the project “Choose Science! Building Society through Research and Innovation,” which brings together the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the University of St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola, Goce Delchev University in Shtip, the National Center for Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Learning, and the Macedonian Ecological Society as partners, European Researchers’ Night 2026 is also being celebrated. Through this project, Macedonia is officially joining the European family of universities and scientific institutions, with the aim of bringing science and research closer to the wider community, and particularly to young people. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEIT), through innovative workshops and presentations, introduced students from primary and secondary schools in Skopje to concepts related to the energy transition, smart power systems, machine learning, and computer architectures. They had the opportunity to experiment with different technologies and discover how, through technology and engineering, they can contribute in the future to building a better society and improving quality of life
