Every FEEIT student is assigned an e-mail address on the student e-mail server, a user account on the e-learning portal and a Microsoft 365 user profile. Below you can find where to sign in, how to set your password and what each service is used for.
Where to sign in
You sign in everywhere with your faculty e-mail address. E-mail and e-kursevi share the same password, while Microsoft 365 has a separate one.
Password: your personal identification number (EMBR) · 1 GB storage.
All e-mail arrives here. All communication with professors, teaching assistants and FEEIT offices goes through your faculty e-mail address.
E-learning portal
Sign in with the same password as for smail.
This is where you find course materials and where exams are taken.
Microsoft 365
You set the password yourself. No e-mail arrives here. Every full-time student enrolled in a semester receives a Microsoft 365 A3 license.
This profile is also used to sign in to the requests portal https://molbi.feit.ukim.edu.mk/, where you submit requests and applications to the FEEIT offices.
What is my address?
E-mail addresses have the form <study_program><index_number>@feit.ukim.edu.mk, where the index number is written without the slash. For example, a student enrolled in Telecommunication and Information Engineering with index number 365/2026 would have the address tkii3652026@feit.ukim.edu.mk.
E-mail and e-learning portal
You will use these from day one.
All e-mail arrives on smail. Messages from professors, teaching assistants and FEEIT offices will be delivered to:
smail.feit.ukim.edu.mk
No e-mail will arrive in the Microsoft 365 mailbox, so check smail regularly.
Initial password
The initial password is set to the student’s personal identification number (EMBR). You can change it through the web interface at smail.feit.ukim.edu.mk.
Same password for e-mail and e-kursevi
E-mail and e-kursevi use the same password. When you change your password on smail, the password for signing in to e-kursevi changes automatically.
So if you want to change your e-kursevi password, it can only be done through smail. The password cannot be changed on the e-kursevi portal itself.
Storage
Each user is allocated 1 GB (one gigabyte) of storage. This space holds all messages together with their attachments, so delete larger attachments from time to time so your mailbox does not fill up.
Communication with FEEIT
Signing in to the e-learning portal e-kursevi.feit.ukim.edu.mk, as well as all communication between the student and professors, teaching assistants and FEEIT offices, takes place through the student’s faculty e-mail address.
You can also sign in to e-kursevi with your Microsoft 365 profile, but for now we recommend signing in with your smail password.
Microsoft 365 user profile
In addition, a FEEIT Microsoft 365 user profile has been created for every student. The username is the same address. You use this profile for Microsoft services, and it is also used to sign in to the requests portal molbi.feit.ukim.edu.mk. Every full-time student enrolled in a semester receives a Microsoft 365 A3 license.
Note: the Microsoft 365 password is separate from your smail password and is not your personal identification number. You must set it yourself by following the steps below.
No e-mail arrives in the Microsoft 365 mailbox. E-mail continues to arrive on smail.
- Open aka.ms/sspr or passwordreset.microsoftonline.com
- Enter your @feit.ukim.edu.mk address and type the characters from the image
- Choose verification by e-mail or by SMS
- The code is sent to the personal e-mail address or mobile phone number you provided at enrollment
- Enter the code and set a new password
Additional sign-in verification
The first time you sign in to Microsoft 365 you will be asked to verify your sign-in. One of the two methods is enough.
Microsoft Authenticator
A mobile phone app (Android or iPhone). It works even when you have no signal or credit.
Mobile phone number
A code sent by SMS to the number you provided at enrollment.
