The 29th International Multiconference “Information Society 2026” was held from 5 to 9 October 2026 at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, bringing together participants and authors from more than 30 countries. Students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEIT) participated with three research papers prepared under the mentorship of faculty members.
Two papers were presented at the Slovenian Conference on Artificial Intelligence:
• “Participant-Independent Prediction of Self-Reported Valence and Arousal in Virtual Reality Empathy Scenes Using EmteqPRO Sensor Data”, by Viktorija Projkova, Martina Mishkova, Kristina Kitrozoska, Teodora Domazetovikj, Hristijan Gjoreski and Emilija Kizhevska;

• “Unsupervised Clustering of Smartphone Sensor Data: Structure Discovery and Post-Hoc Transport-Mode Analysis”, by Monika Stoilkovska, Angela Nastovska, Rezearta Ljuzha, Emilija Kizhevska and Hristijan Gjoreski.

Both papers were prepared under the mentorship of Dr Emilija Kizhevska and Prof. Dr Hristijan Gjoreski.
At the Cognitive Science conference, students Ivana Trenevska and Marija Kochova presented the paper “Statistical Analysis of Empathy in Virtual Reality: Emotional Responses and Individual Differences”, prepared under the mentorship of Prof. Dr Katerina Hadzhi-Velkova Saneva, Assoc. Prof. Dr Jasmina Angelevska Kostadinoska and Dr Emilija Kizhevska.

Participation in the multiconference gave the students an opportunity to present their research to an international scientific audience, exchange experiences and establish connections with researchers from different countries. Congratulations to the students and their mentors for their hard work and for representing FEIT on the international scientific stage!
