Course: Networked Real-time Control Systems
Code: 3ФЕИТ01003
ECTS points: 6 ECTS
Number of classes per week: 3+0+0+3
Lecturer: Prof. Dr. Mile Stankovski
Course Goals (acquired competencies): This course will introduce the students to the higher concepts of SCADA and distributed control systems, such as the design of hierarchical SCADA and the application programming for such systems. The students will also be equipped and taught how to work and deal with real-time and time critical systems.
Course Syllabus: Multilevel organization of the systems for control and supervision of the processes and plants. Distributed computer control systems for real-time control. Measuring and modeling of delays in control communication networks. Closed loop control in communication networks. Design and implementation of multi-level distributed systems.
