On 17.04.2026, a pilot activity organized within the framework of the Eco Minds project (Enhancing Environmental Data Collection through Machine Learning and Database Systems), financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program, was held at the premises of INOFEIT. About 20 students from several faculties of UKIM – Skopje participated in the activity. The students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the project, as well as to start with the newly developed courses “Design of Environmental Data Bases” and “Machine Learning for Environmental Data Analysis”. As part of these courses, students will learn to collect and analyze environmental data, as well as to process them using machine learning techniques.
In addition to UKIM, such pilot activities were successfully implemented at the University of Zadar, the University of Applied Sciences in Šibenik and the Vegova High School – Ljubljana.
