9. Course Prerequisites Passed: Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Measurements
10. Course Goals (acquired competencies): The students are learning specific measurement methods and instrumentation which are used in power systems measurements.
11. Course Syllabus: The content of the course is following. Introduction in instrument transformers. Voltage and current measurement transformers, application and measurement errors.
Methods for measurement of one phase and three phase electric power. Types and construction of power-meters.
Measurement of electrical energy, digital electricity meters, communication possibilities and parameterization.
Measurement of grounding grids resistance, touch and step voltages and earth specific resistivity. Measurement of electric isolation. Power quality measurements.

20. Forms of assessment Two partial written exams are scheduled (at the middle and at the end of the semester, each with duration of 120 minutes), tests that are conducted during the classes, as well as project assignments, which are presented/defended during the semester.
1. Students who have passed the partial exams are considered to have passed the final written exam. The final grade is formed based on the points from the partial written exams, the tests, and the project assignments.
2. In the planned exam sessions, a final written exam is taken (lasting 120 minutes). The final grade is formed based on the points from the final written exam, the tests, and the project assignments.
