10. Course Goals (acquired competencies): The course is designed to provide knowledge for development of data acquisition measurement systems. | ||||||||
11. Course Syllabus: Introduction in data acquisition measurement systems, architecture of data acquisition measurement systems, basics of measurement systems based on microprocessors. Signal conditioning and data transmission, single-ended and differential-ended signals. Amplification. Filtering. Galvanic isolation. AD conversion. Characteristics of AD converters. Sources of noise in data acquisition measurement systems, capacitive coupling, electromagnetic distortion, surge and transients. | ||||||||

19. Conditions for acquiring teacher’s signature and for taking final exam | Regular attendance of the lectures, numerical and laboratory exercises. | |||||||

Forms of assessment | Two partial exams (in the middle and at the end of the semester with duration of 120minutes) are planned, including tests and project tasks which will be presented during the semester. Students who have passed the partial exams are considered that have passed the final written exam. In the final grade, the points are imposed from partial exams, tests, and project tasks. |
