Phases of research process specific for telecommunications. Basics of analytical and empirical scientific research. Experimental based research and analysis in telecommunications. Description techniques and statistical hypothesis testing. Formal and simulation based methods for scientific research and evaluation of the communication protocol performance. Combined scientific research approaches. Results comparison. Research and publication ethics. Dissemination of scientific results. Development of scientific study. Development of demonstrators. Development of prototypes. Scientific publication (conference paper, journal, thesis). Presentation of results. |
