RoboMac 2025 – Competition in Robotics, Automation, Electronics, and Artificial Intelligence

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) invites all students, enthusiasts, and robotics lovers to apply for the international competition in robotics, automation, electronics, and artificial intelligence – “RoboMac 2025”, which will be held from May 12 to May 17.

For the 13th time, this gathering of young innovators and experts will host over 70 participants from both Macedonia and abroad, making it the largest event of its kind in the region. Through this platform, students will have the opportunity to engage with the latest technological innovations in robotics, automation, electronics, and AI via a rich program and hands-on workshops.

Working in teams, students will be able to apply their theoretical knowledge and practical skills, upgrade and refine them, and collaborate with peers from other universities and countries — all with the goal of winning first place in their chosen category.

Competition categories are:

  • Detect the Intruder – Hardware-software co-design for detecting a misaligned element.
  • AI Football – Program intelligent agents to find and eliminate opponents in a dynamic environment.
  • Robotic Arm Challenge – Combine robotics and machine vision to accurately sort objects.
  • The VoiceBot Challenge – Command your VoiceBot to victory in this speech-driven robotics competition.
  • Self-Racing Cars – Program and unleash NVIDIA JetBots in a self-driving car showdown.

Participants will also have the opportunity to attend lectures on topics from these fields.

The final competition in all categories will take place on May 17, 2025.

More information about the categories can be found on the following link.

The event is organized by the Macedonian Section of IEEE (The Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers), through its student branch at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University (UKIM), and by FEEIT, in co-organization with the FEEIT Student Assembly.
