FEEIT signed a cooperation agreement with the Macedonian company Gomatic DOO from Kumanovo, which specializes in the production and automation of machines for processing wood and panel materials. As part of this cooperation, Gomatic DOO will donate funds for the procurement of a mobile robotic platform for experimenting with advanced algorithms in autonomous navigation, control, and perception, with the aim of renewing and modernizing the teaching and research equipment within the Institute of Automation and Systems Engineering at FEEIT. In this way, the Laboratory for Automation and Systems Engineering will be equipped with a new tool for educational, scientific, and application purposes, and Gomatic DOO will join the group of FEEIT’s industrial partners.
