On November 12, 2024, the introductory meeting for the project “Personalized Learning in Measurement Technique Supported by Machine Learning” (PEMS-ML) took place via the Zoom platform. PEMS-ML, a project under the KA220-HED program—Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education—is coordinated by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje. The project officially began on November 1, 2024, and has a planned duration of two years with a total budget of €120,000, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.
The consortium includes three key partners: FEEIT as the lead institution, Politecnico di Milano (Polimi), and the University of Niš, Faculty of Electronics (UNI).
The project aims to develop an innovative concept of personalized learning for higher education, with a specific focus on measurement techniques. This approach aligns with the principles of Education 5.0, which emphasize placing students and their individual needs at the center of the learning process. The personalized learning framework will leverage advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence to tailor educational experiences.
The expected outcomes include the creation of interactive multimedia learning materials and the development of software platforms designed to support personalized learning.
During the virtual meeting, participants agreed to hold the project’s first kick-off meeting on December 5–6, 2024, in Skopje at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies.
