Тhe 8th Macedonian Workshop on Graph Theory and Applied Mathematics took place in Ohrid

Co-organized by FEIT and the Society of Graph Theoreticians (MSGT), the 8th Macedonian Workshop on Graph Theory and Applied Mathematics took place in Ohrid from August 9 to August 13, 2024. The aim of this annual workshop is to promote discrete and applied mathematics in Macedonia. This year’s invited speakers included Roman Sotak (Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia), Jasson Vindas (Ghent University, Belgium), Nino Basic (University of Primorska, Slovenia), Aleksandar Dimitrov (Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje), Jerzy Cioslowski (Institute of Physics, University of Szczecin, Poland), and Ismael Gonzalez Yero (University of Cádiz, Spain).

The workshop was attended by approximately 30 prominent researchers, as well as second- and third-cycle students from Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Slovakia, Poland, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Israel, Cuba, Costa Rica, and Australia.
