Students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies had a chance to visit the Macedonian Radio, where they were warmly welcomed by the team in charge of the technical side. During their tour, they got to experience firsthand the various studios that make up the radio’s sonic landscape, including three music studios, two drama studios, and the silent room – an acoustic testing facility used to calibrate equipment and record sound without reverberation. The students were also given a comprehensive overview of the range of equipment utilized in these settings, showcasing the latest advancements in electroacoustics technology. At the end, they visited the live program studios and the central office, gaining valuable insight into the inner workings of a radio station that plays such an integral role in disseminating music, news, and cultural content to the public.
