10. Course Goals (acquired competencies):

Development of complex applications for complex ICT systems. Complete understanding of the development cycle of a modern ICT application.

11. Course Syllabus:

User experience and user interface (UX/UI). Development environments for advanced UX/UI solutions. Design of an advanced UI. Operation with resource limited devices. Scalability. Advantages and disadvantages of specific and platform independent development systems. Multimedia management. Databases. Networking and dealing with network failures. Integration of data sources in an integrated application (e.g. sensor data). Human Computer Interface (HCI). Interface ergonomics. Usability. Application testing.

Lectures, independent work on project tasks and seminar works, visit of relevant ICT companies, invited lectures by industry experts
