10. | Course Goals (acquired competencies):
With successful passing of this course, the candidate will acquire knowledge about the characteristics of the components of the wind power plant, as well as with the competencies for specification and selection of equipment for wind power plant. |

Selection of turbine and generator based on parameters specific to location. Constructive characteristics of the generators. Connection of the turbine – generator. Selection and characteristics of high voltage equipment. Transformer substations. Low voltage equipment. Protection system. Architecture of control system and monitoring. System for quality control of electrical energy. Schemes and diagrams. |
