10. | Course Goals (acquired competencies):
The candidate will acquire knowledge of quality, competence and safety management systems. The candidate is qualified for the creation, implementation and maintenance of various management systems defined by international standards. |

Concept of quality and quality policy. Organization and management. Process approach to the organization and management system. Optimization of information flows. Documentation. Requirement of the quality management standard ISO 9001. Other international standards for quality management, competence and safety. Approach to total quality. Six Sigma quality. Statistical methods for quality assessment: measures of central tendency, dispersion, skewness, concentration and statistical hypothesis testing. Control charts, pareto charts, histograms. Statistical sampling. Study examples of quality management systems. |
