Acquiring knowledge about methods, techniques and tools for planning, assurance and control of project and process quality. Capability for application of systems and techniques for quality management in projects and work processes in companies as tools for continual improvement. |

The main characteristics and definition of the quality. Deming, Juran and Crosby contribution to development of quality management systems. PDCA cycle. Planning, assurance and control of project quality. Comparison of Japanese and American style of quality management. TQM and zero tolerance error. Toyota systems for quality management, 5S, 3M, Kazien, Just in Time, 7 quality control tools. The main principles, structure and benefits from ISO 900x implementation. The rules for development ISO 900x documentation. Steps for successful ISO implementation. Study case analysis. Statistical quality control. Lean production. Six sigma methodology. QMS and innovations |
