Course Goals (acquired competencies): Acquiring knowledge in the field of automation, robotics and system engineering; preparing the students for research work; it is also a necessary preliminary step towards their master thesis. It enables the students to conduct independent research work and enhances their scientific creativity.
Course Syllabus: Scientific-research and application work methodology. Selection and study of relevant literature for the concrete research. Definition of the research object, methods and goals. Collection and analysis of data. Experiment set up. Set up of simulation or laboratory environment. Preparing theses for application of master thesis.
