Gaining basic understanding of the principles and methods of scientific and research work. Preparing the student for independent research work and developing scientific creativity. Taking part in a research project as a preparation, or part of the M.Sc. final project and thesis. |

Methods of scientific research on a practical application example. Search for resent and relevant work from other researchers (research papers, conference proceedings). Referencing others work. Determination of research goals, methods, plan and expected results. Defining experiments, using simulations, building a prototype, testing. Formal requirements for completing MSc degree and submitting MSc Thesis. |
