10. | Course Goals (acquired competencies):
Upon competition of this course the students will be able to: analyze the client requirements, define, plan and execute a project for developing a software system, modeling and implementation of software system and risks assessment, managing people and resources in software development projects using advanced software tolls for project management. |

Introduction to software engineering. Software life cycle, methodologies and techniques. Plan driven and agile techniques for software development (SCRUM, Kanban). Planning and managing the software development process. Software project management, resource management, risk control. Quality control through audits and testing. Delivery strategies. Managing configurations and changes. Software maintenance, IT service delivery and customer relations. Economic aspects of software development. Software tools for software lifecycle management. |
