10. Course Goals (acquired competencies): Obtaining knowledge for the basic methods in measurement of electrical and non-electrical quanitites. Introduction of the basic operational principles of analog and digital instruments. | ||||||||
11. Course Syllabus: Basic terms and definitions in measurement technique. Static and dynamical characteristics of measurement devices. Basics of measurement uncertainty, measurement errors in indirect measurement. Basic characteristics of analog and digital instruments. Sensors and transducers. Measurement sensor classification. Resistive, capacitive and inductive sensors. Signal conditioning and basic configurations in measurement circuits. | ||||||||

19. Conditions for acquiring teacher’s signature and for taking final exam | Regular attendance of the lectures, numerical and laboratory exercises. | |||||||

Forms of assessment | Two partial exams (in the middle and at the end of the semester with duration of 120minutes) are planned, including tests and project tasks which will be presented during the semester. Students who have passed the partial exams are considered that have passed the final written exam. In the final grade, the points are imposed from partial exams, tests, and project tasks. |
