10. Course Goals (acquired competencies): Understands methods and electronic instrumentation for measurements in electronic circuits and systems. Knows programmable and virtual instrumentation. Performs practical measurements and data acquisition. |
11. Course Syllabus: Introduction to electronic instrumentation. Programmable electronic and virtual instrumentation architectures. Design and programming of virtual instrumentation in LabView. Passive components and tools for measuring circuits. Measurement signals and systems characteristics. Microcomputer implementation in measureing instrumentation. Power sources for measurements. Oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, frequency counters, watmeters. Signal generators, spectral analysers, logic analyzers. Random signals parameter measurement. |
