Course: Switched Dynamical Systems
Code: 3ФЕИТ01013
ECTS points: 6 ECTS
Number of classes per week: 3+0+0+3
Lecturer: Asst. Prof. Dr. Vesna Ojleska Latkoska
Course Goals (acquired competencies): After completion of the course, the student will gain knowledge for the switched dynamical systems, and will be able to recognize control problems for which the application of these models gives best results. Also, the student will be introduced to the stability conditions for such systems and gaining ideas for application in some new areas.
Course Syllabus: 1. Introduction to switched dynamical systems. 2. Mathematical preliminaries for studying switched dynamical systems. 3. Stability of switched dynamical systems: stability under arbitrary switching; stability under constrained switching. 4. Controllability, observability and canonical decompositions of switched control systems. 5. Switching control. 6. Optimization of switched dynamical systems. 7. Switched fuzzy systems and switched fuzzy-neural systems.
