International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Centre of Excellence (CoE) at the Faculty for Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) organizes an e-learning course ‘Wireless and Mobile Ultra-Broadband: LTE-A Pro, WLAN, and 5G NR’, which will be held in Skopje from November 19th– December 16. The event is organized within the frame ITU Centre of Excellence European network in the region, and it will be finalized via the ITU Аcademy: https://academy.itu.int
Professor Toni Janevski, Ph.D is the Manager/Coordinator at the ITU Centre of Excellence at the Faculty for Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) (tonij@feit.ukim.edu.mk).
The course will be focused on Wireless and Mobile Ultra Broadband Internet – LTE-A Pro, WLAN and 5G NR, with special emphasis on technologies including the regulatory and business aspects.
In addition, mobile broadband technologies will be discussed including mobile networks and the Internet conversion, ITU role in mobile broadband Internet, 4G LTE, LTE-A (4.5G), LTE-A Pro (4.9G), mobile Internet of Things (IoT) architectures, QoS in 4G/4.5G/4.9G mobile networks, ITU spectrum management as well as business and regulatory aspects of mobile broadband.
