10.    Course Goals (acquired competencies):  Being able to start and run a small business (selecting a business idea, developing a business model, generating seed capital, developing a marketing and sales plan, finding resources, etc.) developing initiative, innovativeness, proactivity, self-confidence, taking risk, etc.

11.    Course Syllabus: Introduction to Entrepreneurship; Importance of entrepreneurship for socio-economic development; Characteristics of the entrepreneur; Decision to start own business (generating business ideas, selecting the best business idea); Marketing (basic concepts, essence and basic market analysis, importance of brands); Principles of new product / service development; Business model development; Basic elements of the management of micro and small firms; The importance of human resource management in small firms; Business financing; Legal aspects in opening a new business; How do I sell my products / services?; Development of the overall ecosystem for support of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Macedonia.

19.    Conditions for acquiring teacher’s signature and for taking final exam
20.    Forms of assessment Through two partial written exams (duration of 2 hours each) or a final written exam on the whole teaching material (duration 2 hours). The student should prepare a seminar paper and submit it by the end of the semester. The points from the partial exams/final exam and the prepared seminar paper are included in the final grade.
It is not allowed to use books, scripts, manuscripts or notes of any kind, mobile phone, tablet or any other electronic device during the exam
