Course Goals (acquired competencies): By active participation and passing the exam, the candidate has opportunity to learn about knowledge about the role and principles of innovation activities as the driving force of improvement of technical benefits as well as the role of technology transfer in contemporary conditions of global industrialization. Students will obtain competences for estimation and activities toward intellectual and industry property.
Course Syllabus: Innovative systems at national and international level. The role of innovations in economy development. Innovative processes. Infrastructure for innovations’ support. Innovative processes from idea to final product. Active stakeholders in innovative processes. Scientific research and innovations. What is technology transfer. Technology transfer versus innovations. Active stakeholders in TT processes. University and TT. The role of industry, companies and state institutions in the process of TT. Public-private partnership and TT.
