10. | Course Goals (acquired competencies):
Acquiring knowledge about the influence of the work of the industrial capacities of the environment. It is trained in the preparation of analyzes, studies and environmental studies as an indispensable part of each project in accordance with environmental standards. |

11. | Course Syllabus:
Introduction to regulations and environmental standards, as well as national and international laws for environmental protection. Classification of environmental pollutants on the intensity of the impact on soil, water and atmosphere.. Possible contaminants of solid waste, liquid waste and emissions into the atmosphere (nitrogen, sulfur oxides and carbon oxides). Greenhouse effect (GHG) and ozone layer of meaning to life on earth. Assessment of needs for external economic costs of introducing technologies to preserve and protect the environment. Sustainable Energy Development (SED) and the main factors for achieving SED measures: use of renewables, energy efficiency and care for the environment. Possibilities and ways for achieving sustainable economic development with respect to the regulations for environmental protection. International regulations and standards regulations to protect the environment. Procedures for classification of projects under the CDM mechanism (Clean Development Mechanism), and the ability to obtain certificates for Annex 1 countries under Kyoto protocol – CER (Certified Emission Reductions.). Project activities and project documentation or elaborate study for environmental protection as part of the project. |
