Course Goals (acquired competencies): Ability for solving problems of optimal and robust control. Using various methods and algorithms. Derivation of numeric solutions for optimal and robust control. Ability for application of various methodologies, in the given content, to real control problems, as well as ability to do science research in the topic.
Course Syllabus: Algebraic Riccati equations, Internal stability. Parametrization of stabilizing controllers. H2 control and H2 filtering. H-inf control and H-inf filtering. Controller reduction. Model uncertainty. General framework for robustness synthesis.
