10. Course Goals (acquired competencies):

Acquiring knowledge about methodologies of performing research in the filed of Biomedical Engineering, necessary for completion of master thesis. Acquired capability for independent research work and scientific creativity.
11. Course Syllabus:

Methodology of scientific research and application in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Selection and study of relevant research literature. Setting up the subject, methods and goals of the research. Selection of research methods. Data acquisition and processing. Setting up an experiment. Setting up a simulation or laboratory environment.

Consultations,  project assignment, presentations.
