10. Course Goals (acquired competencies):

Following the completion of the course, the student will be capable to perform research for completion of the defined topic in project management, determine the methodology for research and make a selection of relevant literature and references for master thesis.

11. Course Syllabus:

Definition of the specific topic for deeper research in theory and practice of Project management. Methodology for scientific research that is most appropriate for the explored topic. Studying the relevant literature for the specific topic and definition of the possibilities, insight and research dynamics. Defining the outcomes from the research and their application for project management development. Practical application of the research results. Verification with seminar/research paper on scientific or experts’ conference or publication.

12. Learning methods:

Mentoring throughout joint research and analysis of the literature and research methods as well as developing the relevant skills for individual creation of the master thesis. Preparation of the seminar or scientific paper.
